SAML authentication with Microsoft Azure AD
Necessary steps
Required for setup:
1. Go to company apps.
2. “New app” menu
3. “Create your own app” menu
4. Give it a name, and select “Integrate any other application you don’t find in the gallery (Non-gallery)”
5. Select “Single Sign-On”
6. Select “SAML”
7. Go to SAML’s basic settings
8. Set up the identity ID “https://voice-management.axialys.com“
9. ACS URL: https://voice-management.axialys.com/operateurs/saml_acs/
10 log-in URLs: https://voice-management.axialys.com/operateurs/saml_sso/
11. Once validated, make sure you click the message “Default response URL is missing in the list of response URLs”
12. Go to the “User attributes and claims” section
13. Select “Claim name”
14. Format name identification, select “Email address”
15. Source “attribute”, “user.email” and validate
Then test with the following:
– properties > enabled for users to log in (yes)
– properties > user allocation required (yes)
– properties > visible to users (yes)
– self-service > enable users to request access to this app (no)
– users and groups > Add several users that you want to run tests with (make sure you insert the user you created)
When all the steps below are validated, click “federation metadata XML” and send the file to Axialys so your metadata can be updated.
